RESOLUTION NO. <br />08-053 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A SITE PLAN AND VARIANCE. <br />THE S, an application has been made by Miller Architects & Builders, Inc. on behalf of Inter - <br />Plant ales to permit construction of a 20,787 s.f. warehouse building and associated office <br />and sJ#face parking at 3595 New Brighton Road. <br />IHE S, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br />1.plication for a Site Plan was received on March 27, 2008 and was deemed incomplete. <br />2. T applicant was informed, in writing, on April 4, 2008 of a request for additional <br />3. Allplications for a Vacation, Variance, and Nonconforming Use Permit were received on <br />April 24, 2008. <br />4. Tie Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing <br />on May 20, 2008 and all present were given a chance to freely speak at the hearing. <br />5. Tk Planning Commission directed the applicant to withdraw the request for a <br />nconforming Use Permit. <br />6. T Je Planning Commission recommended conditional approval of the Site Plan and Variance <br />of I May 20, 2008. <br />7. T e applicant submitted written request of withdrawal of the Nonconforming Use Permit. <br />8. TJe City Council considered the request on May 27, 2008. <br />1HEREks, the Planning Commission and City Council make the following Findings of Fact with <br />respe to the Site Plan (LP2008-004) and Variance (VN2008-002): <br />1. e property is zoned I — 1, Light Industrial. <br />2. T 7 e property is guided in the Comprehensive Plan for Light Industrial. <br />3. e Planning Commission and City Council considered the Site Plan in accordance with I - 1 <br />d Atrict standards of Section 6-030, 6-060, the commercial performance standards of Section <br />6 90, and the parking standards of Chapter 11 of the Zoning Code. <br />4. e Planning Commission and City Council found all applicable Site Plan standards to be <br />5. P fnning Commission and City Council considered the proposed Variance in accordance <br />h Zoning Code Section 8-210. <br />6.
