<br />1 ! <br /> <br />,.. : <br /> <br />~ ~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-098 <br /> <br />State of Minnesota <br />County of Ramsey <br />City of New Brighton <br /> <br />RESOLUTION EST ABLISIDNG THE 2003 CUSTOMER CHARGES FOR THE UTILITIES <br /> <br />Whereas, the City operates Water, Sewer, and Storm Water Utilities; <br /> <br />Whereas, in establishing the customer fees it is also preferred that these fees be reviewed periodically; <br /> <br />Whereas, the review for 2003 operations has been completed and presented to the City Council; <br /> <br />Now, therefore be it resolved that, effective January 1,2003: <br /> <br />1. The consumption and capital charges shall be: <br /> <br />Water Consumption <br />Water Capital <br /> <br />$ .83 per 1,000 gallons <br />$ .32 per 1,000 gallons <br /> <br />Sewer Consumption <br />Sewer Capital <br /> <br />$ 2.12 per 1,000 gallons <br />$ .21 per 1,000 gallons <br /> <br />Storm Water: <br />Single family residence <br />Park, cemetery, golf course <br />School <br />Townhouse & model home park <br />Church <br />Apartment, condominium, senior <br />housing & nursing home <br />Commercial, industrial, & <br />warehouse <br />Unimproved, vacant land <br /> <br />$ 7.28 per quarter <br />$ 2.00 per acre per quarter <br />$21. 83 per acre per quarter <br />$29.69 per acre per quarter <br />$40.68 per acre per quarter <br /> <br />$48.47 per acre per quarter <br /> <br />$90.84 per acre per quarter <br />$ 0.00 per acre per quarter <br /> <br />2. The minimum quarterly capital fees shall be $6.40 for water and $4.20 for sewer. <br /> <br />3. Winter quarter water usage shall determine the quarterly sewer consumption fees and both water and sewer <br />capital fees. <br /> <br />4. If a residential customer's water service is not metered by the City, the sewer consumption fees shall be based on <br />of 20,000 gallons per quarter, and the sewer capital fee will be the minimum. For all other types of customers, the <br />fees shall be set at the average for similar occupancy. <br /> <br />5. Ifthere is no winter quarter water usage for a residential customer, the quarterly sewer consumption fees shall be <br />based on the average of the three previous quarters' actual water usage or 10,000 gallons per quarter, whichever is <br />less. The water and sewer capital fee will be the minimum. <br />
