August 25, 2008 <br />• <br />Mrs. Janice Gundlach, City Planner <br />City of New Brighton <br />803 Old Highway 8 NW <br />New Brighton, MN 55112-2792 <br />Re: 900 Long Lake Road <br />Sign Plan <br />Dear Mrs. Gundlach: <br />This letter shall serve as formal request for submission of a Special Use Permit in regards to additional <br />Tenant Signage for the above—referenced office building located at the intersection of Long Lake Road <br />and Interstate Highway 694 in the city of New Brighton, Minnesota. <br />Currently, Two (2) permanent signs exist on the property; a building monument sign located at the <br />main entrance of the property facing Long Lake Road, and a monument sign located at the northeast <br />corner of the building and facing 694. Also note, that one (1) building sign exists (Ameriprise Financial <br />Services) on the northwest corner of the building. (Please refer to the exhibit A for location of existing <br />signage). <br />Volt Services Group recently signed a lease to occupy a large amount of space on the 3rd floor in the <br />Long Lake Office Complex. Volt Services Group has requested ownership and management work with <br />them and the City of New Brighton to obtain all necessary approvals to have Volt's identity located on <br />the buildings south elevation.
