BE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08- 085 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 07-1,2007 STREET <br />RECONSTRUCTION <br />RESOLVED: by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br />REAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met and heard and passed <br />the proposed. assessment of the benefited lots in the area. <br />BY J the construction of storm sewer, watermain improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, and street <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br />1. 11 The total amount to be assessed is $82,170.13. <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Special Assessment Number 63071000 is hereby accepted and <br />shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein <br />included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against <br />it. <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of ten (10) years, the <br />first installment to be payable on or after the fust Monday in January 2009 and shall bear interest at the rate <br />of 5.65 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment resolution. <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the <br />County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such.property with interest accrued to the date of <br />payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid <br />within 3.0 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the County <br />Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordancewith the <br />statutes such in case made and provided. <br />5. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Auditor to be <br />extended on the property tax list of the.
