MOTION APPROVED. <br />Commissioner O'Brien rescued himself for the next Public Hearing and Commissioner <br />Zisla rejoined the Commission. <br />Public Hearing: MS2008-003, LP2008-008, VN2008-004 Minor Subdivision, Site Plan, <br />and Variance to Allow Development of a 4,406 SF Retail/Office Building & Surface <br />Parking on the West 145' of 2350 Palmer Drive <br />The applicants are requesting a Minor Subdivision, Site Plan, and Variance in order to <br />construct a 4,406 SF building (not including the 2nd story) and associated surface parking <br />on the western 145 feet of the property located at 2350 Palmer Drive. The proposed <br />building would contain a 2nd story consisting of 2,144 SF, which the applicant has <br />indicated would be used for storage. The owner of The Garage at 2350 Palmer Drive is <br />requesting the subdivision and TimberCraft is requesting the Site Plan and Variance. The <br />requested Variance would allow a parking lot setback of 10 feet when 30 feet is normally <br />required. Lastly, the proposal includes shared access with 2350 Palmer Drive, utilizing <br />the western -most existing access point of the parcel. No additional access points would <br />be created. <br />The applicant has been marketing the property for many months and appears to have <br />• located tenants.
