Public Hearing for proposed 2009 Lake Diane Improvements. Report No. 08-335. <br />Director of Public Works Grant Wyffels gave a brief presentation related to a recent neighborhood <br />meeting held November 18, 2008. The residents reduced the amount of the levy and 25% City match <br />in 2009 to $3,000 from the previous 2008 amount of $5,700. To pay for the all of the expenses, the <br />residents authorized spending of reserves in the amount of $3,695 totaling $6,695. Even with all of the <br />projected work, it is estimated the district will have reserves in excess of $11,000 at the end of 2009. <br />Mayor Larson opened the Public Hearing at 6:47 pm. <br />David Hoel, 273817` Terrace NW explained the residents feel comfortable with the amount of <br />reserves, and support spending more at this time. <br />Councilmember Doffing reiterated that only the benefiting properties are assessed the levy. <br />Mayor Larson asked for additional comments; there were none. <br />7.
