McGrann, a 20 -year Washington insider, who, <br />p while on Capitol Hill, was repeatedly recognized as one of the Unite <br />States Congress' most influential staff members by the nationally <br />noted publication Almanac of the Unelected. Mr. McGrann served it <br />a:. <br />the U.S. House of Representatives for over a decade in a number of <br />key Congressional policy positions including committee staff directo <br />and chief to staff to the vice chair of the Subcommittee on Health and Environment. He also served <br />in a high level Presidential transition position in the U.S. Department of Energy. Over the past two <br />decades, Mr. McGrann has been engaged in many of the major federal regulatory and legislative <br />battles, including amending the Clean Air Act, telecommunications industry deregulation, health <br />care reform, energy deregulation, financial market reform and nationwide air and surface <br />transportation reauthorizations. He has been called upon by both Democratic and Republican <br />administrations to lend his expertise and support to a host of high priority initiatives. He currently <br />serves as an adviser to the administration on international transportation policy negotiations. Mr. <br />McGrann is a native of Watertown, South Dakota, attended the Universita del Sacta Cuore in Milan <br />Italy and pursued advanced studies at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. He is a <br />graduate of the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota with MBA, M.A. and B.A. degrees. <br />HUBERT C. ions <br />Robert C. Long, a LOCKRIDGE GRINDAL NAUEN P.L.L.P. partner <br />practices in the area of commercial litigation, real estate and <br />development, and government relations, focusing on local <br />government issues. Mr. Long has many years of legal, government an, <br />corporate experience in both the public and private sectors. He was <br />formerly a member of the St. Paul City Council and President of the <br />Minnesota League of Cities, as well as a Special Assistant Attorney <br />General in the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General and Executive Director of the Minnesota <br />Justice Foundation. As Vice President of Corporate Services and Development at NAI Welsh, he led <br />the Corporate Real Estate Services group and worked on urban redevelopment projects. In 1985, Mr. <br />Long graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he received the <br />William O. Douglas Public Interest Law Award. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and in the <br />U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota. Mr. Long is a 1981 summa cum laude graduate of <br />Macalester College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Phi Beta Kappa key. <br />
