Director Jacobson thanked everyone for their support at the Council meeting where the <br />awards were given for the van fire. All of these award recipients will also be recognized <br />at the MN Public Safety Service Award dinner which is sponsored by North Memorial <br />Medical Center. <br />Council Report <br />Council Representative Doffing noted the following items: <br />p Thank you to everyone who attended the Council meeting to see the awards handed <br />out for the van fire. <br />o Council handled a sign issue at last night's meeting. <br />o Council passed an outdoor patio ordinance last night. <br />p The Comprehensive Plan for the City has been updated; this is done every 10 years. <br />o Council listened to a good presentation asking for permission to receive bids for a <br />replacement fire truck. This was approved. <br />Old Business <br />Silver Lake Flats — aka Timber Crest <br />Director Jacobson reported that Silver Lake Flats probably will not remain on a <br />provisional license; they may finally be below the calls for service ratio needed for a <br />regular license. <br />New Business <br />None. <br />Adiourn <br />Commissioner Woods motioned to adjourn the October Public Safety Commission <br />meeting; Commissioner Tollefson seconded.
