The bid of $13.50 <br />per inch for accessible trees is 10% less than last year. The bid for trees with access difficulties <br />decreased 20% from last year. Most of the City's tree removals are access available. Three other <br />companies bid or tied low for the large trees in each category; Upper Cut Tree, Pioneer Tree & S&S <br />Tree Specialists respectively. All of the above firms have reliable experience in municipal work and <br />have the needed equipment and manpower to complete these contracts in the City of New Brighton. <br />Costs and Funding: <br />101-44142-3300 -- Forestry contractual.
