MRyor Harcus stated that earlier this aLLcrnoon he had attended a meeting at Roseville City Hall with area mayors and managers regarding a proposed hotel/motel tax being proposed by Ramsey County. Mayor Barcus also noted that the tax was being considered to be expanded to include liquor and restaurant operations. Mayor JIarcus stated that the purpose of this afLcrnoon's meeting was to solicit support from New Brighton for opposing the Ramsey County proposed tax bill.
