<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />!"larch 9, 1982 <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />MODIFYING THE 1982 CITY BUDGET with the <br />following amendments: <br /> <br />1) That the appropriation for Account <br />101-111-4300, Council Fees, Service, <br />be revised to ~how an appropriation of $4,000. <br />2) That Account 101-141-4022, Salaries, <br />Part-time (Parks) be revised to indicate <br />an appropriation of $51,500. <br /> <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to: <br /> <br />1) Authorize the purchase of a new half-ton <br />pickup from Minar Ford In the amount of <br />$7,015.21; <br />2) Authorize the installation of liquid <br />propane conversion by Texgas Corporation <br />in the amount of $675.00. <br />3) To retain the 1975 G.M.C. pickup for <br />the present time to be used in the Parks <br />and I.G.S. Departments. <br /> <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek to <br />approve the specifications and authorize <br />the advertisement for bids for a new City <br />street sweeper. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The City Manager questioned whether there <br />was appropriate safeguards for the City <br />regarding the development of the Griffis <br />property. <br /> <br />The City Attorney stated that with the cost <br />equity BTO would have in the project and <br />the fact that it would be a simultaneous <br />closing and the fact that the project would <br />not proceed unless appropriate financing <br />was secured, it is felt that the City is <br />adequately protected. <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist to <br />authorize the Mayor and Manager to execute the <br />Development Agreement with BTO Development <br />Corporation. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />-7- <br /> <br />lW' <br /> <br />1982 Budget <br />Modifications <br />Report No. 82-65 <br />RESOLUTION #2575 <br /> <br />Purchase of Half-Ton <br />Pickup <br />Report No. 82-42 <br /> <br />Street Sweeper <br />Report No. 82-64 <br /> <br />Development Agreement <br />BTO Development Corp. <br />Report No. 82-71 <br />
