RESOLUTION NO. 09-015 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />THE 2005 FRAMEWORK PLAN FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE <br />NORTHWEST QUADRANT <br />IEREAS the City of New Brighton made application on May 1, 2008 to the Metropolitan <br />mcil under its Tax Base Revitalization program for a grant for environmental remediation in <br />Northwest Quadrant redevelopment area; and <br />HEREAS the Metropolitan Council approved the City's application and awarded <br />,400,000.00 to the City, pending execution of a Grant Agreement; and <br />the City's funding application was based on a Framework Plan approved in 2005; <br />EAS the City Council received and reviewed the Northwest Quadrant Market and <br />lopment Analysis report ("The Report") by Colliers International in February 2008, which <br />the land uses shown in the Framework Plan as a reasonable model for redevelopment; <br />IT RESOLVED that the City Council of New Brighton, Minnesota continues to support the <br />5 Framework Plan as a reasonable model for redevelopment, and directs staff to solicit <br />elopers based on this Plan; and <br />IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of New Brighton, Minnesota supports the <br />;ution of a Grant Agreement with Metropolitan Council in substantially the form presented in <br />2008. <br />this 24`'' day of February, 2009. <br />Stev Mayor <br />Dean Lotter, City Mai <br />cto of Finance and-�upport <br />-y. <br />
