<br />The petitioners by their signatures below hereby sincerely
<br />request and submit this petition for consideration to all
<br />implementing agencies involved with development and approval
<br />thereof of the Long Lake - Rush Lake Regional Park located
<br />in New Brighton, Minnesota.
<br />
<br />The petitioners herein ask that said agencies, approving
<br />bodies and related parties postpone decisions on approvals,
<br />delay voting of allocation of public or private funds and suspend
<br />other matters related to the Long Lake - Rush Lake Regional Park
<br />until:
<br />
<br />1. More people have an opportunity to be
<br />heard;
<br />2. Scientifically documented studies of
<br />bird habitat, wild life and natural
<br />vegetation have been made and presented;
<br />3. An Environmental Impact Statement has
<br />been prepared; and
<br />4. A Preliminary Master Plan and Management
<br />Plan have been devised respectful to the
<br />Envirorunent and Green Acres Concept.
