<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />April 14, 1981 <br /> <br />Present were Mr. Wayne Leverkuhn, <br />representing the Planning Conunission; <br />Dr. Ron Kastner, representing the <br />Human Rights Commission; Mr. Ed Hoss, <br />representing the Environmental Quality <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. Dick DeTingo, applicant, was present <br />to answer questions. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Blomquist <br />to approve LP-l12 contingent on the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. That grading and drainage plans be approved <br />by the Rice Creek Watershed District and <br />City Engineer; <br />2. That the plans indicate the area of the <br />road easement to be paved; <br />3. That staff he presented with a copy of the <br />easement granted to the applicant from the <br />property owner to the east to use the existing <br />road easement for access; and <br />4. Conformance with site and landscape plans <br />dated and signed by the applicant and <br />City Planner. <br /> <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Mr. John Lange, applicant, was present <br />to answer questions. <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Benke to <br />find that the construction of an office/ <br />warehouse building is consistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan at a site located <br />generally in the northeast corner of <br />5th Avenue NW and 2nd street NW. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Schmidt to <br />approve the request by the New Brighton <br />Area Historical Society to use a portion <br />of Long Lake Park for the purpose of <br />growing rhubarb with the fallowing <br />conditions: <br /> <br />LP-l12, Tecnetics <br />Industries <br />Report No. 81-70 <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />Consistency - Lange <br />Report No. 81-67 <br /> <br />New Brighton Area <br />Historical Society <br />Report No. 81-62 <br /> <br />1. That the permission be granted for one year <br />at a time. <br />2. That the Society is given permission to enter <br />city land only and negotiates on its own for <br />crossing rights over railroad and asphalt plant lands; <br /> <br />-4- <br />
