This planning should include provisions
for the continuation of communcations capabilities in the
event the primary systems become inoperable.

I

Amateur radio operators can be invaluable in helping to meet
this need. With effective prior planning and suitable
equipment, the effects of an emergency affecting the primary
radio system would be greatly minimized. A part of this
required equipment is a tower with sufficient height to carry
the signals.

Good luck in your planning endeavors.

Sincerely,

~~~~
Ralph A.
