<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />March 10, 1981 <br /> <br />~ <br />'~ff <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br />. <br />~ <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />!~~ <br />1 <br /> <br />staff to: 1) investigate alternatives for traffic <br />and turning movements in the Palmer Drive, Pike Lake <br />Drive area; 2) to prepare a resolution for removal <br />of the "No Right Hand Turn" sign; 3) to complete <br />a study and report on traffic counts on streets in <br />the general vicinity; 4) increase police patrol <br />efforts within the area and to report on the results; <br />and 5) to investigate parking and speed limits in the <br />vicinity of Pike Lake Elementary School. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Mr. Richard Wickrel applicant I was present. <br /> <br />LP-lll, Small <br />Engine Service <br />Report No. 81-37 <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidtl seconded by Blomquist to <br />authorize the issuance of a building permit <br />to Small Engine Service (LP-III) subject <br />to the following: <br /> <br />1. That grading and drainage plans are approved <br />by the Rice Creek Watershed District and <br />City Engineer; <br />2. That at least three (3) evergreen trees with <br />a height of 2~ to 3 feet be planted in the <br />front yard; <br />3. That there be no outside storage of equipment I <br />parts, debris or wood other than in the designated <br />storage area; <br />4. That all vehicles on the site be operablel currently <br />licensed and parked in designated parking areas; and <br />5. Conformance with site and landscape plans dated and <br />signed by the applicant and City Planner. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Mr. Richard DeTingo, applicantl was present. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />Consistency - <br />Tecnetics Industries <br />Report No. 81-38 <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek to <br />find the request by Tecnetics Industries, Inc. <br />to construct an industrial manufacturing <br />building is consistent with the Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Mr. Richard DeTingo, applicantl reviewed the <br />reasons why Tecnetics was requesting approval <br />of a tax exempt financing mortgage. <br /> <br />Tax Exempt Mortgage- <br />Tecnetics Industries <br />Supplement to <br />Report No. 81-29 <br />RESOLUTION #2431 <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to <br />find the request for a tax exempt instrument <br />by Tecnetics Industries I Ind. worthy of further <br />consideration and to waive the reading and <br />adopt the RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br />PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 474.01, <br />SUBD. 7B setting the public hearing for April 14, <br />at 7:35 p.m. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />1981 <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br />. <br />t,. <br />
