<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting <br />of the City Council was held Monday, April 28, 1980 at 6:50 PM <br />in the municipal building, 803 5th Avenue NW, New Brighton, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Senden, Councilmembers Bob Benke, <br />Roger Blomquist, Jeannette Janecek, Steve Schmidt <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />Vernon C. Pederson, City Clerk <br />Wally Dornfeld, Evenson-Dodge, Inc. <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that the meeting was convened for the <br />purpose of receiving sealed bids for the purchase of $460,000 <br />General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1980 as advertised <br />for sale and pursuant to adjournment of the sale scheduled <br />on April 8, 1980, and adjourned to April 22, 1980. The <br />City Clerk presented affidavits showing publication of the <br />notices of sale in the official newspaper and in Commercial <br />West, which affidavits were examined and found satisfactory <br />and ordered placed on file. <br /> <br />The City Clerk then presented the sealed bids received and <br />opened pursuant to the notice of sale for the General <br />Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1980, and instructions <br />pursuant to the adjournment of sale.
