<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />June 24, 1980 <br /> <br />the report and discussed the possibility <br />of an expanded Fire Hall that could accom- <br />modate police functions. <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Blomquist to <br />direct staff to investigate and report on <br />the possibility of incorporating the Fire <br />Hall and police activities into a public <br />safety facility. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to <br />call a special meeting for July 24, 1980 at <br />7:30 p.m. for the purpose of touring the <br />Fire Station followed by a work session with <br />staff and the Fire Department representatives <br />regarding the recommendations and issues <br />raised in the Municipal Fire Hall Report. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Blomquist to <br />authorize the City Manager to; <br /> <br />Supplement to <br />Municipal Liquor <br />Report #2 <br />Report No. 80-1l0 <br /> <br />Investigate and report with recommendation <br />on the selection of an interior design <br />company for work on a new municipal liquor <br />facility, <br />To recommend that the selection committee <br />for the interior design company include the <br />City Manager, Director of Liquor Operations, <br />Director of Community Development, and the <br />Administrative Assistant, <br />That the interior design selection committee, <br />plus the City Engineer be charged with the <br />selection of an architect for design of the <br />new municipal liquor facility, <br />That a comparable method of application be <br />used in hiring an architect for this project, <br />That the City use the standard A.I.A., Owner-Architect <br />Agreement form approved by the City Attorney for <br />actual architectural services, and <br />That the City use a Mixed Method of Compensation, <br />for the architectural services with "not to exceed" <br />limits. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Mr. John Risdall, representing the New Brighton <br />Cable Communications Citizen Advisory Committee, <br />and Mr. Thomas Creighton, Attorney representing <br />the North Suburban Cable commission, were <br />present. <br /> <br />Joint Planning <br />Agreement for Cable <br />Service Territory <br />Supplement to <br />Report No. 79-4l0 <br />RESOLUTION #234l <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br /> <br />-3- <br />
