That the property is zoned 1-2, Heavy Industrial and <br />developed accordingly with 9,946 square feet of existing <br />building which presently meets all zoning code regulations. <br /> <br />2. That the proposed addition will be 15.5% of the total <br />building area after construction. <br /> <br />3. That the proposed uses of storage, shop and warehousing <br />which are allowed in a light industrial district will <br />consist of approximately 70% of the total usage of the <br />addition. <br /> <br />4. That the addition will improve the existing plant operation, <br />which would therefore be consistent with the intent of the <br />Comprehensive plan by improving air quality which greatly <br />affects the health and welfare of the City residents. <br /> <br />and further that the City Council, in their review of the <br />development plans, may attach conditions relative to land- <br />scaping, parking, screening, and outside storage, etc. <br />4 ayes - 1 naJe (Senden) - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Blomquist to <br />approve the plans for the new traffic <br />signal at the intersection of lOth Street <br />NW and Old Highway #8 and further to direct <br />staff to communicate to the County the <br />City Council's concern with the projected <br />completion date and to request the County, <br />if possible, to accelerate the construction <br />schedule of said semaphore. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Traffic Semaphore <br />lOth ST NW & <br />old Highway #8 <br />Report No. 80-158 <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist to <br />set a date and time for September 23, 1980 <br />at 7:45 p.m. for a public hearing to consider <br />the condemnation of a single family residence <br />located adjacent to 7th Street NW at the north <br />end of Hansen Park. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Set Hearing <br />Condemnation of <br />Single Family Residence <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Schmidt to <br />adjourn at 8:50 p.m. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />.,-...\ <br /> <br /> <br />~d.+dj)~ <br /> <br />Vernon C.
