The intent is to have informational type meetings with <br />the owners, managers, and tenants of the apartment complex. <br /> <br />3. The C1ty Sanitarian will be responsible for this program <br />and arrangement and conduct uf meetings. <br /> <br />4. Program cost $650.00. <br /> <br />food Establishments <br /> <br />1. The inspe~tion of ~ll food establishments within the City <br />three times a year. t <br /> <br />This means: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a. The inspection of the food establishments. <br />b. Repo'rts written up, delivered and explained. <br />c. Reinspectlons made. <br />d. Court action if necessafy. <br /> <br />2. The City Sanitarian will make all inspections as well as <br />report in writing. <br /> <br />3. Program cost $2,200.00. <br /> <br />The total cost of continuing our improved environmental health program <br />would be $3,700.00. The areas included in this proposal are food <br />establishments, housing, motels, hotels, mobile home parks and camp- <br />grounds. <br /> <br />The City.s environmental health program is p,art of the Department of <br />Community Development, which includes all City planning and building <br />activities. The Departments total budget is $127,000, of which <br />approximately $30,000 or 23% is devoted to environmental health. <br />The health program costs includes personnel services, materials and <br />supplies, and contractural services. We would note that to accompliSh <br />the continued health program improvements, we have relieved the City <br />Sanitarian of more routine tasks so that he can devote time to the <br />more technical items necessary under this program. <br /> <br />It is hoped that by continuing our upgraded invironmental health <br />I program, weare able to provide a safe and healthy environment for <br />the citizens of New Brighton. <br />
