<br />City of New Brighton <br />February 27, 1980 <br /> <br />construction would be contingent on current warrants, other- <br />wise the old semaphores were proposed to be reinstalled. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Council expressed concern withwthis proposal. <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Benke to waive the <br />reading and adopt a RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS <br />AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE lOTH STREET NW UPGRADING <br />PROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 79-l0. COUNTY SAP PROJECT <br />NOS. 62-612-05 AND 62-654-03 and further to direct <br />staff to work with the County and report back to the <br />Council at its March ll, 1980 meeting regarding the <br />semaphore on lOth Street NW and 5th Avenue NW. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Benke to waive <br />the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION FOR THE <br />APPROPRIATION OF MUNICIPAL STATE AID FUNDS <br />TO COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY PROJECT. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Benke to find <br />the proposed construction of a duplex on lots <br />1 and 2, block 6 of Mary's Rice Creek 3rd <br />to be consistent with the proposed comprehensive <br />plan. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek that <br />the Council express a favorable review of <br />the Roseville Comprehensive Plan on the basis <br />of the following items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #2304 <br />Report No. 80-27 <br /> <br />Comprehensive <br />Plan Consistency - <br />Cobb <br />Silver Lake Road & <br />Mound Avenue <br />Report No 80-20 <br /> <br />Review of RoseviJlc <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />Report No. 80-21 <br /> <br />1. That the plan is consistent and compatable <br />with the New Brighton Comprehensive Plan; and <br />2. That the goals and policies and the implementation <br />strategy formulated in the plan does not conflict <br />with the strategies proposed to be implemented by <br />the City of New Brighton; ~nd <br />3. That the plan does not propose conflicts in terms <br />of land use, housing and transportation in the <br />specific areas where the City of New Brighton <br />abutts with the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />and further that the City Council direct staff to <br />transmit the review in letter form to the City of <br />Rosevi11e. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />John Bogucki, representing the applicant <br />was present to answer questions. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Senden to <br />approve LP-98 contingent on the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />Billman LP-98 <br />14th St. NW & <br />Silver Lake Road <br />Report No. 80-22 <br />
