<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />September 11, 1979 <br />city of New Brighton <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist to <br />set time and date for public hearing on SP-SS <br />for September 25, 1979 at 7:45 p.m. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Set Date and Time <br />for Public Hearing <br />SP-88 RCE Corp. <br /> <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Blomquist <br />to appoint the firm of DeLahunt-Voto Company, Ltd. <br />to audit the 1979 City account with a maximum <br />fee of $12,500 and to authorize the Mayor and <br />Manager to execute a contract. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Appointment of <br />Auditor for 1979 <br />City Accounts <br />Supplement to <br />Report No. 79-463 <br /> <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded Blomquist to direct <br />the City Clerk to publish Ordinance #454 but to <br />withhold codification of said Ordinance. <br />S ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Surface Use Ordinance <br />Supplement to <br />Report No. 79-394 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 454 <br /> <br />Mr. Al Templin was present to answer questions. <br /> <br />LP-89 <br />Atlas Van-Lines <br />Report No. 79-473 <br /> <br />In discussion, the Council expressed concern <br />regarding the residential type structure that <br />was proposed for the office use. <br /> <br />Mr. Templin stated that he would do what was possible <br />to make the structure more commercial in appearance. <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Blomquist to approve <br />LP-89 subject to: <br />Conformance with site and landscape plans signed by the <br />applicant and City Planner, and dated September II, 1979. <br />That all doors and windows between the two office buildings <br />be closed subject to the approval of the building inspector. <br />That a final grading and drainage plan be submitted and <br />approved by the City Engineer. <br />1 naye (Werdouschegg) - motion carried <br /> <br /> 1. <br /> 2. <br /> 3. <br />4 ayes - <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Werdouschegg <br />to direct staff to pursue potential for <br />obtaining combined access to the Palmer Drive <br />store with the gas station property to the south. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Liquor Store Access - <br />Silver Lake Road <br />Report No. 79-472 <br /> <br />Mr. Maurice Anderson. Director of Parks and <br />Recreation was present t~, answer questions. <br /> <br />Hansen Park Improvement <br />Bid Proposal <br />Report No. 79-476 <br /> <br />Ms. Gail My1e, 1230 12th Avenue, spoke in regard <br />to the proposed improvements and presented a <br />petition in regard to the proposed east parking lot. <br /> <br />The Mayor, with the consent of the Council directed <br />receipt and filing of the petition. <br /> <br />After considerable discussion the Council acted in the <br />following manner: <br /> <br />6 <br />
