<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof a regular meeting of the New <br />Brighton City Council was held Tuesday October 23, 1979 <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 5th Avenue NW, <br />New Brighton, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Senden, Councilmembers Bob Benke, <br />Roger Blomquist, Jeanette Janecek <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Fritz Werdouschegg <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />Donald L. Lais, City Attorney <br />Jim Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />Vernon C. Pederson, Clerk/Treasurer <br />Les Proper, Director of Public Works <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to approve the <br />final draft of the minutes of October 9, 1979 as presented. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Benke to delete consideration <br />of the road maintenance agreement with Ramsey County and <br />the purchase of lights at Freedom Park from the Consent Agenda <br />and consider as the last items of Council Business and to <br />approve the following: Consolidated fund vouchers #'s 50104- <br />50161; 54577-546%; Liquor fund voucher #'s 11804-11859; <br />Licenses: Viking Home Improvement (General), James L. Patsch <br />Construction (General), Rockne J. Goertz (General), U.S. Steel <br />Supply (General), Coordinate Products (General), and Bowler <br />Co. (Heating); to set the date and time of public hearing <br />for November 13, 1979 - Mardon Homes PL-120 at 7:40 p.m.; and <br />make final payment on project 78-1 -- Brentwood Hills utilities <br />and streets (Report No. 79-497). <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br />Mayor Senden congratulated craig Rapp, Administrative Assistant, <br />on his new position as City Administrator for the City of <br />Circle pines and on behalf of the Council wished Mr. Rapp <br />well. <br />
