<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />November 27, 1979 <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek <br />to waive the reading and adopt a resolution <br />entitled RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT AND <br />ADDITION OF SECURITIES ASSIGNED TO CITY OF <br />NEW BRIGHTON BY PUBLIC DEPOSITORY. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Werdouschegg <br />to waive the reading and adopt a resolution <br />entitled RESOLUTION AMENDING 1979 GENERAL'FUND <br />AND CIVIL DEFENSE OPERATING BUDGETS. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Richard Ernst, representing RCE Corporation, <br />and Thomas Brickner, representing Brickner <br />Builders, were present. <br /> <br />The Council expressed concern for the proposed <br />access to the park from 27th Avenue and overall <br />development plans. <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Blomquist to <br />defer action on the final plat for Park Place <br />until December 11, 1979 and to direct staff <br />to work with the applicant to modify the <br />access from 27th Avenue into the park. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Blomquist <br />to defer action on the second reading <br />of an ORDINANCE AMENDING THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />ZONING ORDINANCE BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />WI'l'HIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON FROM B-3 <br />GENERAL BUSINESS TO R-l SINGLE FAMILY RES- <br />IDENTIAL (generally north of Rice Creek <br />Road, south of Mississippi Street, east <br />of 29th Avenue and west of Rice Creek Shopping <br />Center) until December 11, 1979. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Werdouschegg <br />to receive and refer the report to the New <br />Brighton Police Civil Service Commission for <br />review and report back to the Council prior <br />to the December 11, 1979 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Janecek to <br />amend the motion by directing staff to <br />provide information on current recruitment <br />costs and projected recruitment costs if <br />the Suburban Police Recruitment System <br />were approved, such report to be completed <br />prior to the December ll, 1979 Council meeting. <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2275 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2276 <br /> <br />Final Plat - Park <br />Place <br />Report No. 79-525 <br /> <br />R-103, R-I09 <br /> <br />Suburban Police <br />Recruitment System <br />Report No. 79-526 <br />
