Consideration of Ordinance to renaming 14th Avenue NW to Peninsula Drive from north of le <br />Terrace to the cul-de-sac. Report No. 09-123. Ordinance No. 776. <br />Director of Publi c Works Grant WytMs gave an overview of area, all 19 of the residents signed a petition in <br />favor of the street name change. All criteria for renaming streets have been met with the request. <br />Motion by Councilmember Burg, seconded by Councilmember Phillips to open the Public Hearing. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />Mayor Larson opened the Public Hearing at 6:35 pm. <br />Greg Meyers, 168114' Ave. NW requested changing the numbering system of the houses in conjunction <br />with the street name change. Director Wyffels stated it is the City's strong recommendation to keep the <br />numbering as is, for a variety of reasons, including consistency in sequential numbering throughout the City. <br />The idea of a second petition to change the house numbering was presented.
