May 12, 2009 Page 4 of 4 <br />Councilmember Sharon Doffiny-Public Safety Commission <br />Councilmember Doffing encouraged businesses who may have some good news to report in the way of <br />expanding or enhancing their business services in New Brighton to contact her, so that she can highlight <br />business growth in our city. Town Hall was attended and reported as successful. Councilmember Doffing <br />reported that the Public Hearing held at the May 6" Parks, Recreation and Environmental Commission <br />meeting was one of the best Pubic Hearings to her recollection; special thanks was expressed to Public <br />Safety Volunteer Ray Tandeski. Councilmember Doffing reported the next Public Safety Commission <br />will be on May 27th at 6:30 pm at the Public Safety Center. Officer Ed Sypniewski will be conducting a <br />presentation on the East Metro SWAT Team. Detective Mitch Singer completed the Fargo Marathon on <br />May 9th.
