<br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-033 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY'S <br />INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION AMOUNTS IN 2001 AND 2002 FOR NON <br />UNION EMPLOYEES SELECTING SINGLE HEALTH INSURANCE, AND TO <br />AMEND THE 2001 AND 2002 BUDGETS ACCORDINGLY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has a practice of providing the same insurance contribution <br />amounts for union and non union employee groups. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approves the City's contribution for employee health <br />ll1surance; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Teamsters Local No. 320 union 2001 contract provides for a higher <br />City contribution amount for single health insurance than non union employees received <br />in 2001. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved an additional $50 for 2002 on top of the City's <br />2001 contributions for single and family health insurance. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City will retroactively compensate non Union employees for <br />adjustments in 2001 and 2002 contribution amounts. <br /> <br />'. WHEREAS, the City Council approves the annual budget and any amendments <br />thereafter. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> <br />1. The 2001 City contribution for employees selecting single health insurance will <br />be $290/month. <br />2. The 2002 City contribution for employees selecting single health insurance will <br />be $340/month. <br />3.
