o Compliance with the stated principals governing approval of both the PRD and
PUD
Worth noting, there was some discussion in July about adding an appeal option for determining
whether an amendment is minor or major. Staff removed this language in light of the discussion
that occurred at the September work session. It seemed there was consensus that if an applicant
disagreed with staff's determination of an amendment being major, there wouldn't be much of a
difference in going through the "major" procedure as opposed to appealing the staff decision.
Staff recommends the commission review the draft ordinance and confirm it represents the
discussions that occurred at the work sessions in July and September.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommend the City Council adopt the ordinance creating amendment criteria for approved
Planned Residential Developments and Planned Unit Developments.
Janice Gundlach, City Planner
0
