The audit revealed all the T8 and T12 bulbs can be changed to a25 watt bulb to allow for significant savings. Energy Harvesting fixtures can be used in areas Where lights aren't required to be on regularly. An annual saving of $2,800 would be achieved. The cost to retrofit the current fixtures would be approximately $5,000. The other significant area for savings is in the pop machine, a" miser' can be installed to monitor use, and adjust power accordingly. City Manager Lotter will be meeting with the Pollution Control Agency to discuss the Ashland Refinery site.
