WHEREAS, on April 9, 2009 the City of New Brighton was notified that the <br />tropolitan Council reviewed New Brighton's plan update and determined it was <br />iplete for review, and <br />WHEREAS, on June 11, 2009 the City of New Brighton was notified that the <br />tropolitan Council's Community Development Committee and Environment <br />nmittee found on May 18, 2009 and May 26, 2009 respectively that the City's <br />iprehensive plan complied with MLPA requirements, and the plan is consistent with <br />2030 Regional Blueprint subject to advisory comments, and <br />WHEREAS, between June 11, 2009 and November 17, 2009 the City drafted <br />ions to the 2030 New Brighton Comprehensive Plan Update incorporating the <br />opolitan Council's advisory comments and other non -substantive revisions, and <br />WHEREAS, on November 17, 2009 the Planning Commission reviewed the <br />y comments and other non -substantive revisions and recommended the City <br />I approve the 2030 New Brighton Comprehensive Plan Update. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />ew Brighton that the 2030 New Brighton Comprehensive Plan Update is hereby <br />[opted as the Comprehensive Plan of the City of New Brighton. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the 2030 Comprehensive Plan Update <br />at all times be current with the needs of the City of New Brighton, and shall <br />ent the collective wisdom of the City Council, Planning Commissions, boards, <br />issions and departments of the City.
