RESOLUTION NO <br />09-070 <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION HONORING THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />FAMILY SERVICE CENTER <br />the Family Service Center is celebrating its 15th anniversary; and <br />the Family Service Center has positively shaped the lives of New Brighton residents; <br />and <br />the Family Service Center is home of the parks and recreation department and serves as <br />a gathering place for New Brighton and surrounding communities receiving over <br />360,000 visits annually for recreation, social and business purposes; and <br />the day's events will include a historical video slideshow of the past 15 years, <br />demonstrations of youth program offerings, fitness class demonstrations, discounts <br />on a variety of memberships and programs, flashback rates for the Eagles Nest <br />Indoor Playground/Fitness Center, door prizes and cake/snacks; and <br />the Family Service Center hosts birthday parties, wedding receptions, senior activities, <br />social functions and meetings, and Family Service Center facilities include the Eagles <br />Nest Indoor Playground, meeting and event center, fitness center, track, gymnasium, <br />fitness studio and multi-purpose space; and <br />the Family Service Center exemplifies what is best about New Brighton "to be the <br />preferred place to play, live, work, and do business", <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton and its <br />is honor the achievements of the Family Service Center by declaring November 14, 2009 as <br />Service Center day" in the City of New Brighton. <br />this 9th day of November, 2009 <br />Da Cpl A.
