Consideration of Approval of Purchasing a 2010 Tandem Axle Dump Truck with <br />4. Consideration of <br />Snow Equipment for Purchase and Delivery in 2010. adoption of the 2030 Ne <br />Brighton Comprehensiv <br />Director of Public Works Grant Wyffels gave an overview of the anticipated purchase. Plan Update. <br />Councilmember Phillips requested clarification on the timing of the previous purchase of a Report No. 09-290. <br />Fire Truck in 2008. Also Mr. Phillips questioned the method the costs per mile are <br />figured. Director Wyffels explained different vehicles have different classifications <br />throughout the City based on their usage. This vehicle would not be expected to be used in <br />the 2009-2010 snow season. Vince Pellegrin, a volunteer Firefighter, and Metro Transit <br />Chief Operating Officer offered clarification on the engine requirements. <br />Motion by Councilmember Bauman, seconded by Councilmember Phillips to <br />approve the purchase of a. 2010 Tandem Axle Dump Truck with Snow Equipment <br />for Purchase and Delivery in 2010. <br />4 Ayes, 0 Nays — Motion Carried <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcement and Updates Commission Liaison <br />City Manager Dean Lotter Reports, Announcemei_and Updates <br />City Manager Lotter reported the City has received an offer for one of the two City owned <br />properties. <br />Councilmember Gina Bauman <br />Councilmember Bauman expressed Thanksgiving wishes to all. <br />Councilmember David Phillips <br />Councilmember Phillips attended an introductory EDC meeting. The Planning <br />Commission heard from Clearwire Technology, the item will be coming before the City <br />Council in the future. Vern McPherson was recently appointed to the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Mayor Larson <br />Mayor Larson reported the Public Safety Commission heard an item changing two streets <br />to one-way streets; no action was taken. Joan Kelly has resigned form the Public Safety <br />Commission. Larry Baker has resigned form the Planning Commission as well. <br />Councilmember Mary Burg <br />Absent <br />
