January 12, 2010 Page 6 oF6 <br />Gina Bauman <br />Councilmember Bauman announced the EDC met January 5th at 7:30 am, six new members <br />were welcomed. Director of Community Development Grant Fernelius provided an overview <br />*f development activities. <br />David Phillips <br />Councilmember Phillips reported the Planning Commission will next meet January 19`". It is <br />anticipated the Zoning Code will continue to be reviewed in 2010. It was announced that <br />there are vacancies on the city's various commissions. <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen offered his apologies to the resident's for his being unable to respond to <br />many inquiries, due to a serious health condition of his wife. Gratitude was expressed to City <br />Manager Lotter for his assistance in acclimating him to his new position. <br />Mary Burg <br />Councilmember Burg reported there was not a quorum at the recent scheduled Park and <br />Recreation and Environmental commission meeting. Councilmember Burg announced an <br />Irondale student; Jimmy Gjere played in the recent All American football game. <br />Char Samuelson <br />Councilmember Samuelson announced she was `glad to be on the City Council, and will be <br />liaison to the Public Safety Commission through March 2010. <br />Dave Jacobsen, Mayor <br />.ATTEST: <br />;Daniel A.
