• <br />➢ Members and staff on the House Committee on Transportation and <br />Infrastructure and the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation <br />Committee - Our lobbyists have strong working relationships with members of <br />Congress in the House and Senate, including but not limited to Representative James <br />Oberstar, Representative John Mica, Representative Steven LaTourette, <br />Representative Schmidt and Senator John Thune. <br />Members and staff on the House Natural Resources Committee and Senate <br />Environment and Public Works Committee- Our lobbyists have years of <br />experience working with this committee on previous Infrastructure projects and has a <br />working relationship with a number of members and professional staff on the <br />committees, including Senator James Inhofe, Senator Barbara Boxer, Senator Array <br />Klobuchar, Senator George Voinovich, Senator Johnny Isakson, and Senator Lamar <br />Alexander. <br />➢ Departments of Transportation and Interior — Our lobbyists have experience <br />working with officials in high levels of office in both the Department of <br />Transportation and Interior. <br />➢ Industrial Corporations, Associations and Investment Bankers — Our lobbyists <br />have experience working with a number of Associations, many of which are based in <br />Washington, D.C. Our relationship with our parent company, MWH Global, <br />provides a large network of local project consultants and opportunities. In addition <br />our relationships with investment bankers provide the opportunity for unique <br />partnerships to assist New Brighton's objectives. <br />Our team would prepare information and advocacy materials required to promote the <br />importance of the Northwest Quadrant Redevelopment Project on Capitol Hill and in the <br />appropriate agencies, including brief white papers, backgrounders, and talking points. <br />Among other legislative priorities, our team would pursue the inclusion of the City's <br />priorities in the fiscal year 2011 appropriations cycle. <br />Our team, in coordination with the City of New Brighton, would manage the ongoing <br />advocacy effort, arrange for follow-up meetings and briefings as needed, and prepare any <br />communications that may be required. We would handle all necessary correspondence and <br />requests for information on behalf of the City of New Brighton. <br />Section IV Our People <br />The PACE/mCapitol team of lobbyists has the pulse of Congress and maintains strong ties on <br />both sides of the aisle to ensure a record of success for our clients. John Milne and Tom <br />Foley will be involved in all aspects of Washington efforts. It is our intention, where <br />appropriate, to utilize the expertise and contacts of other senior members of the firm to assist <br />in the accomplishment of the City of New Brighton's objectives. In the case of the City of <br />New Brighton, we would maintain good working relations with all of the relevant entities, as <br />strategically necessary, regardless of party.
