r: Section V Our Experience The PACE/mCapitol team has years of experience assisting clients on a variety of issues. Below is a sample of how we have assisted some of our clients in the past. Clermont Count, Ohio mCapitol Management helps Clermont County with major transportation and infrastructure projects. For fiscal year 2010, a historically difficult time for earmarks, mCapitol Management secured funding for project in the Transportation Appropriations Bill. Over the last few years, mCapitol has assisted in securing over $20 million in Federal funding. Dekalb County, Georgia Dekalb County, located east of Atlanta, has a population of over 700,000 people. mCapitol was recently hired to assist the County with their federal funding objectives in Washington D.C. to support a number of transportation and infrastructure projects. MWH Global, Inc. & MWH Americas MWH, mCapitol Management's parent company, is an international engineering firm that focuses on water, wastewater, and building infrastructure. mCapitol Management assists MWH through government relations, and also manages their employee Political Action Committee (PAC). mCapitol Management has also assisted in securing appropriation funding for joint municipality projects. mCapitol Management worked with MWH to include legislative language in the FY2006 Energy and Water Appropriations bill to complete investigations and initiate a $34 million site remediation and cleanup in Luckey, Ohio. mCapitol Management assisted in additional inclusion of $1 million in appropriations in the Energy and Water Appropriations bill to fund the Restoration of Abandoned Mine Sites (RAMS) Program. Jackson Park Hospital Jackson Park Hospital is located in Chicago, Illinois and offers full medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, psychiatric, and substance abuse rehabilitation services. In the FY09 appropriations cycle, mCapitol Management secured $1 million from the House Energy and Water committee towards the construction of new "green" medical building in a distressed area of Chicago. Minnesota Thermal LLC Minnesota Thermal applies its Golden Hour Technology that has been credited for saving the lives of soldiers out on the battlefield with better methods of blood distribution and maintaining temperatures of other perishable medical materials. mCapitol Management and PACE/Minnesota, LLC assist with seeking appropriations funding for Minnesota Thermal. Working with both sides of the aisle, mCapitol Management and PACE/Minnesota, LLC worked with Congress to get the Department of Defense to purchase $2.7 million in S
