<br />! <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />Citluncil Member Hoffman introduced the following resolution, <br />the reading of which was dispensed with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-035 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON MODIFICATIONS TO THE <br />DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.1 AND THE TAX <br />INCREMENT FINANCING PLANS FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICTS <br />NOS. 1 - 20, 23, AND 25 - 28, THE CREATION OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING <br />DISTRICT NO. 29 AND THE ADOPTION OF A TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN <br />RELATING THERETO. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") ofthc City of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota (the "City"), as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. Public Hearing. <br /> <br />1.01. This Council shall meet on Tuesday, June 22, 1999 commencing at 7:30 o'clock <br />p.m. at City Hall, 803 - 5th Avenue NW, New Brighton, Minnesota, to hold a public hearing <br />on the following matters: (a) modifications to the Development Program (the "Program") for <br />Development District No. 1 (the "Project Area") to reflect increased project costs and <br />increased bonding authority; (b) modifications to the Tax Increment Financing Plans (the <br />"Existing TIF Plans") for Tax Increment Financing Districts Nos. 1 - 20, 23, and 25 - 28 <br />(the "Existing TIF Districts") to reflect increased project costs and increased bonding <br />authority within the Project Area; and, ( c) creation of proposed Tax Increment Financing <br />District No. 29 (the "Proposed TIF District") and the approval and adoption of a proposed <br />Tax Increment Financing Plan (the "Proposed TIF Plan) relating thereto, all pursuant to and <br />in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 to 469.134 and 469.174 to 469.179, <br />inclusive, as amended and supplemented from time to time. <br /> <br />Section 2. Notice of Hearin~; Filing of Plans. <br /> <br />2.01. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice ofthe public hearing, <br />substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be published as required by law, to <br />place a copy of the modified Program and Existing TIF Plans and the Proposed TIF Plan <br />(collectively the "Plans") on file in the City Clerk's office and to make such Plans available <br />for inspection by the public. <br /> <br />1 <br />
