Department Reports <br />Human Rights <br />Nothing to report. <br />Allina Medical <br />Mr. Dave Matteson, Allina Medical, reported Allina is working through a staffing <br />shortage; they are short about 20 Paramedics and EMT's. When their staffing is short, <br />they work short on their transfers, not on their 911 rigs. <br />Allina is watching what the State is doing regarding GMAC and wi4pntinue to monitor <br />this. <br />Mr. Matteson reported Allina has seen a large increase in cardiac <br />health patients recently. <br />Allina Medical union employees did ratify their <br />Allina has "bike teams" that go out to events to provide medical; support. The Public <br />Safety Commission felt this would be something useful during Stockyard Days. <br />Commissioner Woods reported <br />formal report. Commissioner Allen noted the low Part I statistics for 2009 and wanted <br />to stress to Council the need to continue with staffing levels and not delay the hiring <br />process. <br />
