It Is our opinion that removing the northern set of garages would be a positive step in <br />building that relationship and would achieve the following: <br />• Create more of an open space making it easier to monitor the parking space, especially at night, <br />creating a safer environment for our students. At times we have had vehicles broken Into on the <br />she and we feel this would help dater that. <br />• Increase righting levels in the parking lot. <br />• Create approximately another 33 parking spaces, Mlping to alleviate some of the an street <br />parking. <br />• Make snow removal easieq thereby decreasing the time vehicles are on city streets while snow <br />is moved. <br />• Lower our maintenance costs. The current approach to the garages b m tight that many drivers <br />have ought their bumpers on the door jambs creating damage to the building and vehicles. <br />• As part of the project, we want to build a new garbage enclosure with gates and room for <br />recycling containers. <br />Bethel wants to keep the southern complex for storage of mowers, snow removal equipment, and a <br />limited number of cars.
