Trails Committee Update—Brim Stub; Chau Stub stated the Trail Committee had a guest speaker, Comae Bevazdy from Active Uving Ramsey Communities. Corrie gave an update on the connectivity oftrails and maps that the County has worked on. They are hands. The finals Comminu shared with her about New Brigbton tails and comectivity that she was taking notes on. Thee is a meeting on noonday, May 201°, hosted by Ramsey County Communities, 6-8pm at Falcon Heights. They will be discussing, halt, maps, GIS. The Trails Committee mean monthly. They encourage anyhne interested to attend. V. Correspondence A. Council Report- Council Member Mary Bug Bug mentioned that not much is happening in the NWQ development. The State chenged some rules on how you can use TIF money. They aro allowing ®nannies to use a cetain portion m spot development. In nun community, it totals about 2.2 million dollars. It rncruages a developer to come in a ams a project. Aprojetwouldneedmsmrt(digging)bytheedofneathuly-The Council looked at some wonderful developments in the Twin Cities. There is not good financing available at this time. New Brighton hes a great location, incentive money, maybe adjustment on the larded to try to get a project started. We have a short amount of time but we are optimistic fr this project Burg sorted there was a muting last night about Flut/Non-FIceL Discussing how e will pay for all the Capital projects that we have not budgeted for. We are working on a policy that we can follow are we can pay for things like the new carpe[ and the roof. Woad like to add some numbers thin will help us fund things out into the hunts. It is a big project fr teff. Heirnicb asked if it was the west side of the Northwest Quadmnt that you are proposing for development. Burg send the high density banking woad not W in on the east side. We had asked for some stimulus money, to help with the east side cleanup. We are still waiting on that. The west side is ready to go.
