No issues; nothing to report Commissioner Woods miked about her first Board of Directors of League of Human Rights meeting. She reported that she will serve on the Response Plan writing committee. Their Response Plan ideas are things that we are already doing here in New Brighton with the Human Rights Sub-Commitme. ARiaa Medical Mr. Dave Matteson, Mime Medical, reported they were given the "ok" to hire and receives 150 applications. They interviewed 21 people for the 9 EMT jobs; most applicants had prior ambulance experience. These openings were due to EMT's moving up to be Paramedics. Allina has hired 5 mare bike team members which will allow them to have more Allina personnel out at events. Allina has posted for a Supply Specialist position, this position orders all supplies for Allina. Allina has also posted a Manager position to cover the Apple Valley Lakeville -Farmington mea. Allina has hired an outside consultant to look at their fleet; to look at how to avoid having critical breakdowns. The Arden Hills Fleet was looked at recently and it was interesting to find out how many "miles" of engine wear were due to idling time. Mr. Matteson reported that overall, call volume is down; however, the north metro region continues m be very busy so they are looking at adding additional hours to our region.
