I47-1112-03 <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD'S APPROVAL: Cangl <br />CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br />No comments to supplement this report Comments attached <br />Recommendmioo: To approve Partial Pa 1 for Projeet 10-9, is Street NW Mill and Overlay, S.A.P. 147- <br />112-415, in the toad amount of $140,263.24 m Rum River Contracting Co. <br />Legislative History: The project plans and specifications were approved by Council on March 9'a, 2010 and a <br />contract was awarded to Rum River Conbantingon April 13°, 2010. <br />Financial Impact: PleaseseeattachedpeymembmaWownfordemils. <br />Explanation: project 10-9 consisted of a 2 -inch bituminous mill and overlay for approximately 1.0 mile of <br />Street N W h m Siler Lake Road m 81° Avenue NW. The project also included pedestrian curb ramps, sidewalk, <br />and mining as rembed for memory proposes and pedestdau movement. At the April 13, 2010 City Council <br />Meeting Flashing crosswalk lights were considered and deleted from this project Only the conduit crossing was <br />installed as a part of this project. <br />The provisions of the contract with Rum River Contracting Co. stipulate that the City makes partial payment to <br />the cormae ar at least oune each month at regular intervals on dre basis of the work Performed during that <br />preceding month.
