As a Re RdonNo.. -140. <br />gig Y Y g ResoludonNo.1a14o. <br />result of a recent accident concerned residents approached the Council seeking review of the trail <br />crosswalk. Because the road and trail are under Ramsey County's jurisdiction, council would <br />encourage Ramsey County to review the crosswalk. <br />Motion by Councilmember Burg, seconded by Councilmember Samuelson to approve the <br />resolution encouraging Ramsey County to review the crosswalk at Silver Lake Rd. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays -Motion Carried <br />Commission Liaison <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Updates Reoorts, <br />Dean Lotter Announcements and <br />Nothing to report Updates <br />Gina Bauman <br />ncilmember Bauman attended the EDC meeting on June 151h. It was reported that over 150 <br />entries were received for the NWQ,naming contest. <br />David Phillips <br />Councilmember Phillips reported the council has recently participated in two development tours. <br />The next Planning Commission meeting will be July 20, 2010. <br />Mavor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen will be attending the League of Minnesota Cities Conference in St Cloud. <br />Residents were reminded to use extra caution at the trail crossing on Silver Lake Rd. <br />Mary Burs <br />Councilmember Burg reported a Water Quality Report was recently sent out to residents. <br />The Planning Commission was attended (as a substitute for Councilmember Phillips) the item <br />was tabled as the applicant was not able to attend. The next Parks, Recreation and Environmental <br />Commission meeting will be July 7, 2010. <br />Char Samuelson <br />Councilmember Samuelson reported there were 222 seat belt citations issued in the month of <br />May. Public Safety staff recently participated in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run and <br />Grandma's Marathon. The PSC will next meet June 30th at 6:30 pm. <br />
