<br />1;1 <br />I; <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-079 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RES LUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 04-1, STREET RECONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />SOL VEn by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />AS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met and heard and passed <br />osed assessment of the benefited lots in the area. <br /> <br />BY; <br /> <br />construction of storm sewer, watermain improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, and street <br />ction. <br /> <br />NOW HEREFORE BE IT RESOL VEn by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The total amount to be assessed is $120,884.30 <br /> <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Special Assessment Number 63041000 is hereby accepted and <br />shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein <br />included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement in the amount of the assessment levied <br />against it. <br /> <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period often (10) years, the <br />first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January 2006 and shall bear interest at the rate <br />of 4.90 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment resolution. <br /> <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the <br />County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of <br />payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged ifthe entire assessment is paid <br />within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the County <br />Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance with the <br />statutes such in case made and provided, <br /> <br />5.
