The 21s Street pomlfinfiltm0on basin is oversized and is <br />designed to provide credits for future projects, thus reducing Nose projects overall cost. Creating <br />larger basins like this one also reduces overall maintomnce by not having smaller basins scattered <br />throughout the City. <br />Explanation: As a part of the proposed improvements for the 2010 Street Rehabilitation, <br />RCWD Rules require the City to provide Best Management Practices (BMPs) chat minimize <br />pollutants discharged to downstream surface waters. In addition, RC" requires teat <br />infiltration (volume reducing) features we added to reconstruction projects where feasible, and <br />the City formally agree to maintain said features.
