RESOLUTION NO. <br />I0-046 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR PROJECT 10-1, 2010 STREET <br />REHABILITATION <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin and online at <br />htto'//www OuestCDN.com, bids for the above mentioned improvements were received, <br />opened, and read aloud by the City Administration at 9:00 a.m., July 6, 2010, complying with <br />the advertisement; and <br />WHEREAS, the lowest bidder meeting bid specifications was found to be Valley Paving, <br />Inc. with a total bid of $590,968.35. <br />Now, THEREFORE BE rr RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton: <br />That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Valley Paving, Inc. in the name of the City of New Brighton for City <br />Project 10-1, 2010 Street Rehabilitation; and, <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bid except that the deposits of the successful low bidder and the <br />next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted this 13th day of July, 2010. <br />ATTEST: _-`"----. <br />Daniel A.
