<br />. ~l ... ~ ~:f <br /> <br />~ -.- ~ ~ <br /> <br />: ~ <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-052 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF NON TAX <br />INCREMENT REVENUES FROM TAX INCREMENT FINANCING <br />DISTRICTS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, tax increment revenue ("Tax Increment Revenue") is defined <br />at Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.174, subd. 25 (the "Act"), as: <br /> <br />(1) taxes paid by the captured net tax capacity, but excluding <br />any excess taxes, as computed under section 469.177; <br /> <br />(2) the proceeds from the sale or lease of property, tangible or <br />intangible, purchased by the authority with tax increments; <br /> <br />(3) repayments of loans or other advances made by the <br />authority with tax increments; and <br /> <br />(4) interest or other investment earnings on or from tax <br />increments. <br /> <br />, WHEREAS, pursuant to Laws of Minnesota 1997, Article 10, Section 25, <br />,clauses 1 and 4 of the Act are effective for districts for which the request for <br />certification was made after July 31, 1979, and for payments and investment <br />,earnings received after July 1, 1997, and clauses 2 and 3 of the Act are effective <br />for districts for which the request for certification was made after June 3D, 1982, <br />and proceeds from sales and leases of properties purchased by the City after <br />~une 30, 1997, and repayments of advances and loans that were made after June <br />:~O, 1997. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City maintains all revenues from its tax increment financing <br />qlistricts in Funds 461 through 489; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, some of the revenues contained in Funds 461 through 489 are <br />not tax increment pursuant to the Act and are therefore considered to be non-tax <br /> <br />1 <br />
