Mayor Jacobsen <br />Councilmember Phillips <br />Councihnember Samuelson <br />Councilmember Bauman <br />Councilmember Burg <br />The meeting began at 5:00 pm <br />2011 Budget Discussion — The budget was discussed and reviewed. Council supported the proposed levy <br />increase of 0%. Council expressed interest in further discussing the actual budget allocations at future <br />meetings. <br />Update on Railroad Wye — Community Development Director Fernelius gave an update on the Railroad Wye <br />negotiations and asked for Council input on proceeding with the discussions. Council directed staff to inform <br />the railroads that the City would be putting no more money into the project and the Wye project would fall a <br />part if they didn't want to move forward with it. <br />Update on Stuart Negotiations - Staff updated Council on development discussions with Stuart and solicited <br />input on structuring a development deal with Stuart. Staff was directed continue to work on a deal in an effort <br />to get Stuart building in time to take advantage recent changes to TIF laws that would allow city participation <br />in the development that is usually not allowed by law. <br />The meeting ended at 6:30 pm <br />Interviews Started at 7:30 pm <br />PREC Commission Candidate Interviews — After the regular council meeting concluded, Council interviewed <br />applicants interested in serving on the City' Parks and Recreation Commission. The Council voted to appoint <br />Jared Weber, Alyssa Lundberg, and Adam Paker to the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />Motion by Councilmember Phillips, second by Councilmember Burg to appoint Jared Weber, Alyssa <br />Lundberg and Adam Parker to the Parks and Recreation Commission, <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays -Motion Carried. Interviews ended at 9 pm. <br />
