It was reported that Stuart <br />Companies has expressed interest in multi family housing options in the Northwest Quadrant. <br />The Northwest Quadrant naming contest continues, EDC Commissioners were asked to choose <br />their top six choices from the names submitted for council consideration. <br />David Phillips <br />Councilmember Phillips reported he attended the EDC meeting. It was reported that Champps <br />now has patio dining available. Clearwire will be building a 4G wireless network, New Brighton <br />will have a few antennas. <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen reported he attended the Antique Car run as well as the Ambassador Coronation <br />during the recent Stockyard Days Celebration. <br />Mary Burg <br />Councilmember Burg reported the Parks, Recreation and Environmental did not meet in August. <br />Char Samuelson <br />Councilmember Samuelsson reported the Public safety Commission will next meet the last <br />Wednesday in September. <br />Adjournment <br />Motion by Councilmember Bauman, seconded by Councilmember Burg to adjourn the <br />meeting, and return to a worksession to interview candidates for the Parks, Recreation and <br />Environmental Commission. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays -Motion Carried <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:33 p.m. <br />Dave Jacobsen, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Daniel A.
