Consideration of approval oftravel to DC for Mayor Jacobsen and City Manager Lotter. <br />Report No. 10-213. *Moved from Consent Agenda <br />Councilmember Burg questioned the cost of the airfare, and stated she was in support of the travel, but <br />suggested be terplanning in the future City Manager Lotter stated one of the possible reasons was due to this <br />being a short trip; two days. Mayor Jacobsen reported there are windows of opportunities to meet with the <br />elected officials. Councilmember Phillips stated he would prefer the City Manager & Mayor keep their time <br />away from the City at a mimmum, even iftbat means paying ahigher airfare. <br />Councilmember Barman stated she would assume the lobbyist we have hired could attend the meetings in <br />Washington, and perhaps our legislatures could be met with here in the Cities.
