Johnson, Assistant to the City Manager <br />CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br />i` <br />No comments to supplement this report --.,Comments attached <br />Recommendation: <br />City Council motion to accept the Minnesota Metro North Tourism 2011 Operating Budget. <br />Legislative History: <br />On March 23, 20105 City Council approved the City's membership in the Minnesota Metro <br />North Tourism (MMMT) organization. The following area cities are currently members of the <br />MMNT: <br />➢ City of Anoka <br />➢ City of Blaine <br />➢ City of Coon Rapids <br />➢ City of Fridley <br />➢ City of Ham Lake <br />➢ City of Lino Lakes <br />➢ City of Mounds View <br />➢ City of New Brighton <br />➢ City of Shoreview <br />Per the City's agreement with Minnesota Metro North Tourism, the City Council is provided an <br />opportunity to review the organization's operating budget for the upcoming fiscal year. At the <br />September 14th meeting, the MMNT Board of Directors approved its operating budget for the <br />2011 calendar year.
